Friday Round Up

This week I have been working on some simple, single strand bracelets that are all $15 I wanted to offer an affordable range for stocking fillers and if they don't sell online I shall bring them to a craft fair I'm doing next week!

Chocolate Brown, Mocha and Ivory Beaded Bracelet

Burgundy, Silver and Grey Bracelet

Pale Pink, Purple and Diamante Bracelet

I was at a bead fair this morning and got some yummy beads, so will post some pics later this weekend of the beads and some of my new creations.

Friday Round Up

We are mid way through May and after a busy busy start to the month, I've had a pretty dead week. I suppose that's the way with online selling, but does anyone else get a little voice whispering in their ear - you'll never have another sale again??

Anyway, I have made a few new things this week.

First up is this Multi Coloured Glass Disc Memory Wire Bracelet made from 2 sizes of flat disc beads.

Next is this Jade Green, Purple and Pink Cluster Bracelet which is a mix of pearls and faceted glass beads.

And finally is a new Montana Blue and Gold Bubbles Bracelet

Friday Round Up

This week I've been working on a custom order for Peach and Coral Bubbles Bracelet. I love the colours the bride has chosen and think they will be lovely for a spring wedding.

I've decided to have a bracelet sale section in my shop, with Memory Wire bracelets reduced to $10 (about £6.50) and Bubbles bracelets reduced to $15 (about £9.50)
Included in the sale is this Blue and Gold Memory Wire bracelet

and this Forest Green Bubbles bracelet

Friday Roundup

Well, I'm glad I decided to restock my Folksy shop last week, as I've had 4 sales in it! I've gone a bit mad as usual over buying beads, so have vowed not to buy anymore until Christmas, unless I really need to. I'm not sure yet what constitutes 'needing to' buy beads, but I shall be testing my resolve!

I have left some new items into the shop I supply and there were only 2 necklaces that haven't been sold since I last gave them some, so I'm well pleased.

This week I've been quite busy making up new bracelets for my online shops and have been swearing at the weather! As I take all my pics outside the persistant rain we have been having here is making photo taking especially difficult. I have been dashing out between showers to try and snap off a few shots - not ideal.

I have long thought about a black and white Bubbles bracelet and this week have finally made one. I called it the Guinness Pearl Bracelet and am pretty pleased how it has turned out.

I also made this Dark Olive Bubbles Bracelet which is a mix of glass pearls and Gutermann Haiwiian Beads.

And finally I made this rather bright Black and Emerald Green Memory Wire bracelet with a view to all those parties coming up.

Friday Roundup

This week I've been a bit busy with off Etsy crafting for 3 christmas fairs that I have coming up in November. I've been really slack in the past at making things like girls jewellery, keyrings and phone charms to the last minute, so I'm trying to be better prepared this time round!

I have made a couple of new bracelets for my Etsy shop though. This Blue, Brown and Silver Memory Wire Bracelet was a good seller earlier this year but I kind of forgot to make any more! So I've listed a new one this week.

I'm still indulging my love of purple and made this simple Purple and Silver Memory Wire Bracelet

I'm offering 10% off throughtout my shop this weekend, ending Monday morning - I will refund through Paypal.

Friday Roundup

I've had another good week on Etsy which was rounded off yesterday by my treasury making the front page!

This was a last minute poster sketch that I did using the search term UK, so I'm really pleased it made it to the FP! On a side note, is anyone else getting fed up with the huge volume of admin curated front page? It seems 9 times out of 10 when I log on that it's an admin FP, which I always think is a bit of a shame when there are so many gorgeous treasuries.

Anyway, I'd delighted that I've reached 250 sales on Etsy this week. My goal this year had been to reach 200 sales by the end of September, so I'm chuffed I've surpassed it.

I've got to say that I'm loving the rearrange your shop feature. I've spent far too much time playing about with it and it is a bit irritating to have to keep rearranging when I renew or list something new, but with practice I'm getting better.

On the crafting front I've made another pearl bracelet. This one is Metallic Blue

I've also been working on some new memory wire bracelets. This one I've called Irish Sea as the colours remind of the stormy seas around the North Coast.

I'm working on another custom order as well, so I'll let you see it once I've completed it

New!

I don't normally show off my work on my blog until a Friday but I'm very excited by my latest bracelet! I realised that a few months ago I made a bracelet with czech flowers that has a huge number of views on my flickr account and in fact sold before I even got it listed in my shop.

So I've decided to do a few more similar to it - don't know why it's taken me so long to think of it! So here is the latest I made yesterday -

and a bit like the last one, it's sold even before it made the shop!

I've planning on different a few more in different colours, so I'd love some feedback.

August Roundup

I decided today to do an August round up instead of a weekly round up.

Thanks to the Weekend Deals article it has been my best month by far on Etsy. I've had 44 sales and have found it's remarkably easy to get used to being busy!

I've decided to concentrate on more autumnal items and have been working on more memory wire bracelets again.

This Golden Brown Bracelet is made from a mix of golden brown, gold and ivory roughened glass pearls with gold bugle and seed beads.

This Blue and Grey Memory Wire bracelet is made from blue and grey roughened glass pearls with silvery grey bugle and seed beads.

And 2 of my favourite colours together, this Duck Egg Blue and Ivory Bubbles bracelet is not classically autumnal, but I just love them together!

Just to say, watch this space on Sunday as I am celebrating my birthday and will have a special deal going on in my shop!
