Friday Round Up

After 2 and half years selling on line I am still not used to the ups and downs, or rather the dry spells and the busy periods. After a completely dead week last week, this week has been really busy. I've had 4 custom orders and averaged 2 sales a day! I'm not sure why things have picked up so much this week, I've done nothing different and have not been featured anywhere.

Because I've been working on the custom orders it's left very little time for me to do any new bits and pieces, though I did make this Purple and Silver Memory Wire Bracelet



I'm been trying to replace Bubbles bracelets that have had sold recently and now the Champagne and Ivory Pearl Cluster Bracelet is back in stock.



The Olivine and Lime Bubbles bracelet is also back in stock. I've just made some matching earrings for bridesmaids, so I'd appreciate some feedback on them.





I'm going to have a slight price rise on my Bubbles bracelets after weekend, so anyone who wants a bargain should buy now :D

Wednesdays Wish List

With Father's Day just around the corner, I thought I would take a look on Etsy for mens items, doing what I did a couple of weeks ago and searching from high to low price.

The first thing that caught my eye was this incredible handmade Electric Bass Guitar by Wallpusher. Hubbie doesn't play though.



Hubbie currently wears a wedding band that we bought for £50 a few years ago in Cornwall. When we got married in 1994, he wore his great grand fathers red gold band, but he became allergic to the metal so we bought him a silver ring for 15 euros one year in France. That got lost and he's onto his third. But if I had the money this is the one I'd get him - Polka Dot Ring by JamesD

Treasury East

I'm really getting used to the whole treasury east set up and have been featured in some lovely ones. This is one of the most recent, London BLue made by Chasey Lacey, who kindly saved it for me :)



Thank goodness for Craftopolis' feature Treasure Tracks, which allows you to see if you are in any treasury easts, because Etsy admin still haven't got themselves sorted about letting us easily finding out on site.

Todays featured seller is Folksy seller Fiona, from Christals Creations I was the lucky winner of Fionas blog giveaway this month and she spoiled me with not only a lovely necklace and earrings set, but lots of lush beads to play with as well!

Fiona's shop is a gorgeous selection of beaded jewellery. My absolute favourite is this Sea Breeze Bracelet, which is a mix of green and blue pearls and crystals.

Friday Round Up

We are mid way through May and after a busy busy start to the month, I've had a pretty dead week. I suppose that's the way with online selling, but does anyone else get a little voice whispering in their ear - you'll never have another sale again??

Anyway, I have made a few new things this week.

First up is this Multi Coloured Glass Disc Memory Wire Bracelet made from 2 sizes of flat disc beads.


Next is this Jade Green, Purple and Pink Cluster Bracelet which is a mix of pearls and faceted glass beads.


And finally is a new Montana Blue and Gold Bubbles Bracelet

I've Been Buying!

Here in the UK Fathers Day is in June (don't ask me the date, I'm not that organised!) and for once, I'm ahead of the game.

My hubbie works in management and wears shirts to work most days. Fortunately he loves cufflinks but I've kind of exhausted those for the time being. This time, I spotted these Hidden Message Collar Stays by The Hummingbird Nest and got her to make me up a customised pair for Fathers Day.



I've been so impressed by the quality, packaging, communication and speed of delivery - and you've plenty of time to buy before Father's Day!

I'm such a spontaneous shopper that I haven't even really played about with the different search options on Etsy until the other day. For a change I put in 'price high to low' and found some amazing shops that are just a tad outside my price range, but are now on my Wish List!
