Merry Christmas!

I haven't had an opportunity to blog this week, the kids are off school, last minute shopping, visitors and general chaos of life.

But I just wanted to wish all my blog followers a very Merry Christmas - I hope it's a good one for you all :)

Friday Roundup

This week I've been busy with family things. My daughter had a concert at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Tuesday and then we spent Wednesday night in Dublin at the Miley Cyrus concert. I could spend an hour writing my comments on the concert but I'd hate to waste your time with my negativity :D

I was delighted to find myself featured in a Storque article this week. My Gold Bubbles Pearl Bracelet was featured in the Vote for the glitziest New Years Eve glamour article.

To match the bracelet I made this Gold Bubbles Necklace

Apart from that I have just been starting to make items to replace the ones I've sold. I had 140 items in my shop at the start of November and now I have 65. I just haven't been able to keep replacing the ones that have sold, so now things are slowing down, I will be spending my time making up stock again.

I've added a Sale section to my shop, so if you want a last minute Christmas bargain, check it out!

Christmas Wish List

For this weeks Christmas Wish List I've been taking a look at UK sellers who make Christmas cards. I'm afraid I still haven't written any so I NEED to get myself sorted this weekend!

This
Glittery Presents Christmas Card by Parsy is lovely in its simplicity.

And how stylish is this White and Red Merry Christmas Card from Storeyshop

And finally, who could resist the
3 Wise Penguins from CowIsland?

Weekly Roundup

I can't believe it's Friday and time for my weekly roundup again! Isn't time flying? This week has been a complete blur again. I had my best selling day on Etsy on Monday with 11 sales. I'd heard on the news that it is the UKs busiest online selling day and for me it turned out to be!

I'm afraid I've had no time to make any new bits this week. I'd committed myself to another craft fair last night and as usual, left it pretty much to the last minute before getting ready. Unfortunately it was a complete waste of time as it was one of the worst fairs I've done. Lots of people but no one buying very much. At least I have lots of stock if/when I do another one!

I just found out this morning that I'm in this Last deals of 2009 Gift Guide featuring this Blueberry Bubbles bracelet

This is the bracelet that made it onto the FP earlier this week, so maybe it will sell now :D

Christmas Wish List

This week I've been looking at jewellery to go on my Wish List. If you read my blog, you'll know I'm a bit of an earring lover but I wanted to see what else Etsy has to offer.

First up is this stunning Mixed Autumn Leaves Copper Necklace by fellow UK thread regular, AliBaliJewellery

Next up is this simple Copper Band by Tyza

And finally, I absolutely love these Cerulean Sparkle Swarovski Crystal Ball Earrings from ShySiren

Weekly Roundup

November has been a crazy month for me. It has been my busiest month ever on Etsy, with me reaching 60 sales - double what I have last November. Some of those where to repeat buyers, which is always lovely as it means they like your work enough to come back! I've been pretty pleased with how I've managed to keep on top of things like packaging etc, which I remember running out of regularly last Christmas, and the only thing I've run out of is my Moo business cards. Thankfully I've got some old ones I'd ordered previously until my new order arrives.

To honest I've been so busy keeping up with orders and replacing items that have sold that I've had very little creative energy to come up with new ideas. However I have made 3 new Bubbles bracelets this week.

This first one, the Mint Chocolate Bubbles bracelet is a mix of dark chocolate brown and mint green pearls.

The other is the Silver and Blue Bubbles bracelet which is a combination of montana blue and silver pearls.

And finally, I have used rich dark teal pearls in this Teal Bubbles bracelet.

As a thank you to my blog followers, I'd like to offer you free shipping on any orders between now and Christmas. Just put 'blog follower' in the message to seller and I'll refund shipping through Paypal.

The first one that caught my eye is the Minus Tote in Amber I just love the colour.

Something for the evening now is this stunning Ruby silk starburst luxury clutch bag from RedRubyRose I just need the occassion and then I can treat myself!

And this Purple Waxy Leather Satchel from Easily Suede is simply stunning.

What a weekend!

I decided to offer free shipping this weekend in my
Etsy Shop from Black Monday to Cyber Monday. I was offering free international shipping and have been totally amazed at how well it's gone!

I have had 26 sales since Friday! That has surpassed even the weekend that I was featured in the Weekend Deals Storque article! I'm so delighted and thankfully apart from a couple of adjustments to bracelet length, I've had all the items in stock. I'm afraid that's not always the case though and end up working late in the evening getting things made up.

My biggest seller this weekend is the
Silver Pearls Memory Wire Bracelet which is featured in the Under $50 Gift Guide. Luckily I have loads of the beads in stock so am able to replace them easily when they sell.

I hope the weekend has been good to you all and brought you lots of sales.

Weekly Roundup

This week has been less manic than the last couple thankfully. I did my last craft fair of the season - or so I thought! I've just heard about another one which is free of charge and only open to handmade items on the 10th December so I am planning on taking a table if I'm offered one.

On Etsy I've had a great week. My Red and Gold Christmas Bauble is in the Christmas Ornament Voter and I'm way behind, so if you haven't voted already, I'd really appreciate your vote :)

I've added a new Silver Bubbles Bracelet to my Etsy shop, which I think will be lovely for Christmas.

And finally, I'm offering free worldwide shipping this weekend in my Etsy shop, so if you've had your eye on something, this is the weekend to buy it!

I absolutely love these Shaker Style Hearts from SnowFish

Next on my wish list is these Silver Christmas Baubles from MooCowHandKnits

And finally I love the simplicity of these White Stars from Folksy seller Jude Allman

Round Up

Apologies for my lack for blogging again this past week. I have been mega busy with the day job and preparing for craft fairs. My last fair is tomorrow night and I'll be glad to get it over with. Part of the reason is that my other 2 fairs have been pretty successful and I've more or less sold out of all my girls jewellery. That means instead of making new things for my shops, I've been making for the fairs instead.

I was delighted this week to find out that I'm a featured seller on Folksy I've noticed a big increase in views and have had a couple of sales on there - so thank you! I've added a couple of new things to my shop including this Lavender and Pink Memory Wire bracelet

On Etsy I was amazed to find myself in another Gift Guide. This one is the Gifts under $50 and features my Silver Pearls Memory Wire bracelet

And finally, a new Bubbles bracelet. This one is like Holly Berries in a lovely vibrant red.

Mondays Featured Seller

Today I'm featuring fellow Etsy UK seller Jo from IslayBower. To quote her shop announcement "Welcome to Islay Bower's Vintage Thingummies, home of fabulous vintage and secondhand buttons, fabrics, lace, ephemera and everything else gorgeous and crafty."

And she is so right!

How gorgeous is this Victorian Gold trimmed Navy Blue Ribbon on original spool?

I also love this Vintage 1930s floral ivory lace

And if you are a button lover, you will be glad you found this shop! Jo has a great selection including these Vintage mother of pearl buttons

So check out this treasure trove of vintage crafting goodies!

Friday Roundup

Sorry I haven't blogged so much this week, I've had my usual pre craft fair panic and have been making things for it every free minute I have. It went well last night, but I think I took less than at this one last year. There was a good turn out but I wasn't the only stall holder that noticed a downturn.

I reached 300 sales in my Etsy shop this week, so I'm really delighted. I'm also working on 3 custom orders. After an especially quiet October, I'm so glad that things have picked up again.

I've added a couple of new Christmas decorations to my Etsy shop. This one is champagne with a cream ribbon.

Following the suggestion by someone on the UK chat thread, I've also added a Christmas Bauble Gift Box. You can pick the decorations and they will come in a gift box complete with tissue paper and ribbon.

And finally, I'm delighted that this Cinnamon Bubbles Bracelet has made it into the
Holiday fashion Gift Guide!

I've only ever made it into one other Gift Guide, so I'm really chuffed!

Etsy Front Page!

You know the saying, a watched pot never boils? Well, a watched shop rarely sells. So when I went away overnight on saturday night and was without internet access, I made the Front Page and 4 sales!

Many thanks to Lilybud Designs for including me in this lovely treasury.

and to Lorrie from Illusio for featuring my memory wire bracelet in this treasury-

Paisley Chainsaw

I really wanted to thank Esme from PaisleyChainsaw for including me in her lovely treasuries, so I thought I'd feature some of my favourite things from her shop in my blog.

PaislyChainsaw is 'The Home of all things Quirky and Fun....' and it is seriously one of the most unique shops on Etsy!

One of my favourite items is these 3 Handmade Chocolate Bite Pendants, which are quirky, fun and definitely good enough to eat.

Then there is this Play Me Necklace which is just so cute.

And who could fail to love these Have Some Tea Earrings?

And finally, how completely cool is this Measured Up Bracelet?

Hope you'll check out her shop for fun presents now that Christmas is just around the corner!

Friday Roundup

We on the UK Chat Thread on the Etsy forums have decided on a mega promotion of 2 sellers a week, in hope of extra exposure and thus more sales. I've been lucky in that it's my turn. This promotion includes blog features, promo threads, twittering, Facebook promo and adding my work to treasuries. I've noticed a definate increase in views and hearts and am being featured in an incredible 9 treasuries! Thanks to the team, I'm enjoying my 15 minutes of fame :)

This week I've been working on something slightly different - pearl Christmas decorations. Several people have mentioned that my Bubbles bracelets would make nice Christmas decorations, so I decided to make some!

This is a traditional Red Berries Christmas Bauble which can be hung from your tree or used as a table decoration.

This one is aimed at the slightly less conventional colours scheme of Purple and Silver

I have a few more in my shop and am always open to suggestions for different colours and combinations.

And finally I added a new Raspberry Bubble Bracelet to my range in my Etsy shop.
