I thought today I'd take a look at some of the UK earring sellers on Etsy, all of whom have shops on Folksy as well.
First up are these stunning http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20809199>Wisp Earringsfrom lazygiraffe.
The lucite beads have wisps of gold thread suspended in them and are hung from oxidised silver earwires handmade by lazygiraffe. They are perfect in their simplicity. I've admired lazygiraffes work from my earliest days on Etsy and she has loads of gorgeous designs to chose from.
My next choice is http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22371902>O Earrings - Purple from beadsbysam
BeadsbySam's trademark is the use of waxed cotton cord and for these stunners she has used amethyst beads with an antiqued brass jumpring and earwires. Sam always uses bright, beautiful beads in her designs and I've a confession to make - I bought a necklace and matching earrings from her for my sister for Christmas. However, they were too nice to give away so I kept them for myself! Finally, I have chosen httpAqua'>://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22381931">Aqua Oceanic Earrings from AREjewellery
I love the delicate aqua faceted drop and seed beads she has used with sterling silver earposts. AREjewellery also has a great selection of necklaces and bracelets. She also makes the most amazing treasuries that I have been fortunate enough to have been featured in!
I'd like also to thank all the patient people on the UK chat thread, who have been answering my inane blogging questions!
Thank you so much for the wonderful feature!
ReplyDeleteEarrings are my favourite thing to make, I always have ideas for earrings :)
Those loop earrings are great! I haven't ever made earrings, but these are really good.
